Innovating Epilepsy Care: Highlights from NeuroMatch’s Impact at AES 2024

Each year, the American Epilepsy Society (AES) Annual Meeting brings together the brightest minds in technology for epilepsy, as well as research and treatment. This year, AES 2024 in Los Angeles proved to be an inspiring hub for innovation, collaboration, and discovery.

It was an honor for our team at LVIS Corporation to showcase NeuroMatch and demonstrate how our technology for epilepsy has the potential to reshape diagnostics and care.

From live demonstrations to engaging panel discussions and even moments of celebration, our presence at AES underscored our commitment to advancing epilepsy care through cutting-edge technology.

Dr. Jin Hyung Lee and the Power of Live Demonstrations

One of the most exciting aspects of AES 2024 was the chance to connect directly with attendees during our daily Q&A sessions, moderated by our founder, Dr. Jin Hyung Lee. These sessions allowed us to dive into the functionality and impact of NeuroMatch while addressing questions from healthcare professionals, researchers, and hospital administrators.

The highlight for many was our live demonstrations of NeuroMatch software. Connecting seamlessly via a mobile hotspot, we showcased the platform’s cloud accessibility and real-time EEG streaming capabilities.

Attendees saw firsthand how NeuroMatch simplifies data collection, visualization, and analysis, creating a streamlined process for epilepsy diagnostics.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Many expressed excitement about how NeuroMatch could improve clinical workflows, reduce delays in diagnosis, and enhance patient outcomes. These interactions reinforced our belief in the transformative potential of our technology.

Panel Discussions That Inspired and Informed

Another highlight was our participation in thought-provoking panel discussions led by two renowned neurologists, Dr. Josh Gallardo, MD, and Dr. Steve Chung, MD. These sessions tackled some of the most pressing challenges in epilepsy care, including improving diagnostic precision and addressing gaps in access to advanced technology.

For us, these discussions reaffirmed the importance of innovation in epilepsy treatment and diagnostics. As panelists and attendees explored the potential of emerging tools like NeuroMatch, we saw an incredible opportunity to demonstrate how our platform bridges clinical needs with cutting-edge technology.

The LVIS Booth: A Hub of Innovation

Our booth at AES was a reflection of our dedication to innovation and excellence. With seven monitors showcasing product features, user testimonials, and live demonstrations, it became a space for both discovery and discussion.

Visitors explored the many capabilities of NeuroMatch Pro, our latest advancement, and engaged in detailed conversations about its potential to transform epilepsy diagnostics. We were especially proud to receive recognition as an AES Advocate. Displaying the framed certificate at our booth reminded us of the collective effort it takes to push boundaries in healthcare.

Celebrating Collaboration: Korean Night at AES

One of the most memorable moments of AES 2024 was the Korean Night celebration, where our team joined Korean doctors and experts for an evening of connection and collaboration. Events like this highlight the importance of international partnerships in advancing epilepsy care.

For us at LVIS, working alongside global experts is integral to our mission. The exchange of ideas and expertise at Korean Night underscored how shared goals can lead to transformative progress.

Introducing NeuroMatch Pro: A Milestone Achievement

This year’s AES Meeting also marked an exciting milestone: the announcement of NeuroMatch Pro’s U.S. release on November 26, 2024.

This advanced version of NeuroMatch takes epilepsy diagnostics to the next level, offering:

  • Enhanced cloud-based capabilities for seamless data sharing.
  • Near Real-time data visualization for precise diagnostics.
