Senior Interaction Designer
PALO ALTO, CA, USA. FULL-TIME
Collaborate closely with the Design Lead, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to provide proven solutions to product requirements.
Identify potential blockers and gaps in the user experience to be discussed in key decision-making discussions.
Lead the preparation of artifacts needed for ad-hoc user interviews.
Independently facilitate contextual user interviews and user testing to validate concepts and features in the product pipeline.
Iteratively integrate user feedback and business requirements to improve the user experience.
Communicate the user experience at various stages with user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
Partner with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation of design deliverables.
Work in close collaboration with the Design Lead to advocate and improve design processes.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field of study.
5+ years of professional experience in an individual contributor role, on a Product Design team for desktop or mobile.
A strong portfolio, showcasing a foundation in Interaction, User Research, and Ideation.
Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
High level of initiative and a “make it work” ethos to successfully bring a product design from conception to launch with minimal supervision.
Experience building B2B, Enterprise, and/or cloud service commercial products.
Experience working iteratively within a lean team in a dynamic, rapid growth environment.
Proactively seeks and implements feedback from team members.
Expert familiarity and use of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Sketch.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates an aptitude for visual design and illustration.
Experience working with overseas teams.
Experience designing in the healthcare space.
